WARRANT AGAINST PREITY

Preity Zinta whose last film Ishkq In Paris sunk without a trace at the box office now finds herself in trouble of a different kind. Apparently, a non bailable warrant has been issued against the actress. This comes in connection with a bounced cheque case, for which a complaint had been filed by scriptwriter Abbas Tyrewala.

In the complaint filed, Tyrewala has accused Zinta for issuing a cheque for Rs. 18 lakhs which bounced. Following this a Mumbai court had summoned the actress in the past. However due to her inability to appear before the court four consecutive times the court on Thursday, issued the non-bailable warrant.
